Three (eco) skincare products I'm LOVING right now.
Hi, I'm Meghan, and I LOVE beauty, skincare, and wellness. Today I wanted to share three of my current favorite eco-friendly skincare products. My personal beauty philosophy is that it all starts with your skin - when your skin is looking glowy and awesome, I honestly don't think you need much makeup to pull yourself together. I find that investing a little more for high quality skincare makes such a big difference in how my skin looks. These days, I'm being much more conscious about what goes onto my skin (it's all absorbed!), so each of these products is eco-friendly and contains lots of good-for-you ingredients.
1. Dr. Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk
I love to use this cleanser in the AM when I don't have any makeup to remove and want something quick. It has a light, creamy texture and a beautiful (subtle) rose scent. It always leaves my face glowing and moisturized after using. I first tried the travel size of this product and a little goes a long way, so it ended up lasting me two months. I definitely need a more heavy-duty product in the PM, but I love this one for the morning.
2. Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream Tinted - SPF 30
This is going to be a bold claim, but this product is the best eco-friendly sunscreen I've ever tried. It has awesome ingredients: sea buckthorn oil, rosehip oil, nettle (anti-inflammatory, helps prevent acne), chamomile (anti-inflammatory and decongestant), and obviously SPF. This powerful combo soothes and moisturizes my skin in the AM. I personally love the tinted version -- it has a hint of coverage that provides a great base for my BB cream. It is definitely on the pricy side, but I will always repurchase this.
3. Pai Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream
Despite the fact that this product is technically a "day cream," I use this in the evenings after I wash my face. The avacado and jojoba oil provide some serious moisture, but it never feels TOO greasy right before bed. It also boasts thistle oil (anti-inflammatory and antioxidant), vitamin E, and shea butter as key ingredients. Pai is an amazing eco brand, and I definitely want to try more of their products in the future.
So there you have it! Those are three products I'm loving right now. I'd love to hear what skincare and beauty products you're loving at the moment! Always looking for new recommendations :).
