February Favorites - What I'm loving Lately.
Hello lovely people! Can you believe that it's already March? I feel like January was a LONG month, but February flew by in the blink of an eye. Today, I wanted to share with you what I've been loving in February. Let's jump into it!
Favorite Lip Product - Smith and Cult Lipstain in Sweet Suite: I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again - I'm usually a chapstick kind of girl during the work week. However, I've recently came across this gloss/lipstain combo product in my stash and have been using it religiously for the month of February. It gives the prettiest glossy finish (nothing too intense) that dries down to a beautiful pink stain. It's also easy to apply (no mirror required!) and touch up during the day.
Favorite Immunity-Booster - Four Sigmatic Mushroom Elixir Mix with Chaga: I've been loving this Four Sigmatic Mushroom Elixir Mix in February. Chaga is a great ingredient with a number of health benefits including: B-complex vitamin D, potassium, rubidium, cesium, amino acids, fiber, zinc, iron, magnesium, calcium...the list goes on! It's also known for it's immune boosting properties, so I've been drinking this a couple of time per week during cold and flu season and (knock on wood!) seems to be working well!
Favorite Snack - Vegan Queso Dip: I topped the delicious tacos pictures above with vegan cashew-less queso dip by the Minimalist Baker. I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical as this was my first time trying to make this sauce, but I was very pleasantly surprised! This honestly tastes like the real deal, and I definitely will be making it again.
Favorite Movie - The Meyerowtiz Stories: This was a random choice on Netflix one night, and I was actually very pleasantly surprised. I thought that it was a really good movie! The cast is stacked with Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, and Dustin Hoffman that embody a dysfunctional family very accurately. I really appreciated the humor throughout (it was definitely more dry humor, especially for Adam Sandler!). I would recommend, especially because it's free on Netflix!
Yoga: A couple of blog posts ago I talked about going back to yoga for the first time in a REALLY long time. I'm excited to say that I've been going consistently once or twice a week since then and enjoying it so so so much. I now crave the mental break where I have no phone, no computer, and no watch to distract me, and I can take the time to just breathe. I always feel so refreshed when I finish a class. It's totally different to my usual routine, and that's why I love it.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum: My husband and I went to the Isabella Steward Gardner Museum for the first time (a bit embarrassed it was our first time!) and it was SO cool! Isabella is so fascinating as a master art curator, and the museum also had an unsolved theft in 1990 (which sucked me down a rabbit hole of reading for awhile!). Overall, beautiful art and such an interesting layout of the museum. I definitely would go back when we have more than a couple hours to explore!
