Four NEW non-toxic beauty discoveries.

Hi friends! Happy new week :) I have some exciting updates coming your way soon, but suffice it to say that life has been a little bit crazy around these parts. This past weekend we traveled back to State College to cheer on Penn State against Ohio State! My husband is a huge fan…and dare I say that college football is growing on me? Even though it wasn’t the outcome we wanted, we still had an absolute BLAST!

I will say — college football hasn’t grown on me as much as discovering new non-toxic beauty products that are JUST as good as their convention counterparts. I recently had the absolute pleasure of trying the Art of Organics box by an amazing turn of events — a lovely family member thought of me, entered a giveaway, and we ended up winning! That NEVER happens…and there was some jumping up and down when it did. I received a powder blush/highligher, and a serum. Let’s get into those products, and then I’ll share some products I’ve purchased myself!

Au Naturale // Begonia Powder Highlighter: I use this product primarily as a lovely peachy pink blush, as opposed to a highlighter. The product comes with a pump lid (which IS kind of odd for a highlighter/blush), but the product itself totally makes up for it. I absolutely love the light pink tone and shimmer - it totally makes you glow! It’ll be especially pretty in the winter when I’m nice and pale ;).

Leahlani // Aloha Ambrosia Morning Moisture Elixir: This product is truly unique, and I totally can’t imagine my skincare routine without it now! This product is a very light oil consistency that sinks in beautifully to the skin. I actually love apply this on the weekend under a tinted moisturizer because glowy skin is always my favorite. I also find that I can apply in the morning under makeup and apply some light powder for work. It smells like a tropical getaway, which is a bonus as we get closer to the colder months (shudder).

Both of these wonderful items are available for purchase over at Art of Organics if you’re interested in purchasing!

Maya Chia // Supercritical Chia Waterless Wonder Balm: This might be the longest product name I’ve ever seen, but the Maya Chia Wonder Balm is absolute heaven. I was looking for a product to replace my Aquafor in the evenings, and this is perfection. I’ve struggled finding a nontoxic chapstick or balm that feels moisturizing enough, but this completely does the trick. I’ve also been applying to my hands and any dry patches at night — this product is a TOTAL multitasker.

Seed Phytonutrients // Hand Salve - The Seed Hand Salve is SO good. I had the pleasure of attending an event at Fenway Park with Seed, and learning more about their amazing products. I’m still trying many of the products in their range, but I love this hand salve. The weather has been cooler lately and this has been giving me so much moisture. Stay tuned — we totally want to get this brand on the podcast!

I would love to hear if you’ve tried any of these brands, and any new nontoxic products you’ve tried and loved recently!

Xoxo,

Meg
